This book by John Fryer, an Australian and NSW Veteran cricketer, is a novel. It has been written as a first-hand account of the trials and tribulations of Dr. W. G. Grace, the ‘best ever’ English cricketer.

Readers will find historical facts of which they may not have been aware and many of the 85 photographs are from rare and varied collections.
