[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The first-ever NSW Veterans State Over 70 cricket championships were held in Orange early in March. Four teams played over 3 days. Hunter Taverners combined with Central Coast players to form the Central Dynamos and they were too good for the Southern Stars in the final. John Fryer and skipper Phil Smith are featured above with the trophy. Phil Smith, Roger Black, John Fryer, Chris Parker, Graham Halton and Ian Hodge (one match) were the Taverners’ players. Orange was an excellent venue, well organised and all players are looking forward to next season’s championship.
John ran a raffle at the championships which raised $545 for the Tavs. Thanks Trunkie for seizing the opportunity.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1386″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
