Robert Holland OAM became the Lord’s Taverners Australia Hunter Branch’s 3rd Life Member when he was presented with his award at a function today. Known throughout the cricketing world as “Dutchy”, the former Test legspinner was pivotal in the formation of the Travelling Taverners playing group back in 2002. His gentlemanly leadership made the Taverners a sought-after team to play against. His presence in the team helped spread the word about the Lord’s Taverners and its work in giving opportunities to the less fortunate
